Krista’s therapeutic approach is grounded in curiosity, empathy and connection. She strives to create a space that is safe and collaborative, and believes that the relationship between therapist and client is the conduit for exploration, insight and growth. Krista also values the importance of play, spontaneity and humor in her work with clients of all ages.

Krista enjoys working with a diverse group of clients and has a particular interest in anxiety and depression, relationship issues, trans-generational trauma, and cross cultural dynamics in couples and families. She draws on a variety of modalities and theoretical orientations in her work with clients, including psychodynamic psychotherapy, attachment theory, mentalization-based therapy, family systems theory, intersectionality theory, relational psychoanalysis, play therapy and narrative therapy. Krista sees adolescents and adults experiencing high-conflict divorce/custody or in need of reunification therapy, along with clients not involved in the family court system.
